Something I have been working on for a while (I had hope to work it into a shoot in February but it didn't go with the theme or colours) and finally just finished the last couple of things so I could use it. Back when I first started I had planned to make some large home decor items (including chandeliers, mirrors, coffee tables etc) for the craft shows we used to do... I had even taken a black smithing course from one of the local schools here in Edmonton. I only did 3-4 shows with my home decor line before it was something I decided I didn't want to do anymore and now I have all these pieces around the workshop and in storage I can use and turn into other things :D so I will be making a line of items that are purely used for photoshoots, like this one, where I incorporate some of my random items I have collected over the last 10-15 years for these pieces. I got lots of brass stampings, unusual flowers, items to create tables and home decor, feathers, foam pieces and even some worbla my sister got me and I didn't know what to do with. My goal is just to use these items I have on hand before making too many new large corsets where I have to make every component, because I got a lot of those already >:). So this one has a neckpiece that turns into a head piece and on top of the mannequin is a matching cuff. The metal pieces have all been gilded in silver with a bit of black patina added to it to make it a little aged looking. I think it looks amazing with dark blue or dusty rose fabric so I will probably use whatever I got on hand for a matching skirt.

Item's created for a recent photo shootI made hand made these items for a recent photo shoot... The shoot was with another designer; Lewis Mayhem as we created a fairy inspired shoot in my small studio. They are my take on fantasy armour or fairy tale fashion.
